Colleen M. McCafferty (she/her/Ms.) is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the state courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and before the federal U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
Ms. McCafferty is also a registered attorney with the Executive Offices of Immigration Review (EOIR) eRegistry system, which permits her to practice law in federal immigration court proceedings in any US jurisdiction.
Ms. McCafferty opened her law firm, The Law Offices of Colleen M. McCafferty, LLC, in 2018 to provide representation to noncitizens navigating the US immigration process. She brought with her valuable experience representing foreign nationals in various capacities while working with immigration law firms and nonprofit agencies in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, both prior to, during, and after her law school experience. Ms. McCafferty developed a special passion for representing LGBTQ+ foreign nationals in family-based and humanitarian-based applications, and desires to continue this representation as she expands and diversifies her legal practice.
However, in September 2022, Ms. McCafferty began winding down her solo immigration law practice to allow her to associate with other law firms and gain hands-on experience in different legal practice areas to further develop her law career.
Ms. McCafferty continues to represent existing clients in their immigration matters through her firm, but is not accepting new immigration clients at present.
Ms. McCafferty joined The Simone Law Firm, P.C., a Cinnaminson, NJ-based Estate Planning and Business Law practice in May 2023. There, she will continue to serve her local community while developing her legal expertise.
